Hen's Night

last night i went to my first Hen's Night. that's not what they're called back home, right? just Bachelorette parties or Bridal showers or something. all i can say is that it was very interesting night. i learned so much about some of my female classmates - my jaw seriously dropped a few times. honestly, i feel like such a sheltered individual.

so i'm on holidays now for a week. i'm gonna be boring and stay in Canberra for most of it. though i've scheduled myself to follow around a emergency doctor for Monday afternoon... i'll see real medicine being practiced. actually, other than a couple of GPs and what i've gone through myself, i haven't seen real medicine (vs. fake stuff for us to practise). i hope it doesn't turn me off medicine too much, cuz it's a little too late.

i've been looking to book a ticket to come home. i'm so excited! i've even purchased my souvenir/Christmas gift for people - they're sitting underneath my bed right now. i think people will like it a lot better than last year's Vegemite. haha!! i haven't touched that stuff in a year!
