Happy Easter!

i don't think i've ever been so appreciative of a four-day weekend. i've been able to putter about, take naps, and not have the gnawing feeling that i had to go back the running wheel of (school) work.

also, i don't think i've ever had so much Easter chocolate. i dunno if it's a Aussie thing or a white ppl thing, but i got chocolate from 4 sources! and it's fairly decent stuff, with one of the eggs filled with Smarties. you shake it, and it rattles - it's fantastic!

i made a corned beef dinner last night. i'm feeling mildly domestic, and am thinking that one day, i might be able to care for a family. one day, that day is not today or anything close to it. all this confidence from boiling a plastic bag that contains a lump of beef. :)

so, i can honestly say that i'm quite content with my life at the moment. just thought i should document that.

on a completely different note. this whole facebook thing is pretty crazy, eh? all these people coming out of the woodwork. people i thought would just be restricted to my past. and so many of the girls from my high school... married with kids! holy schmoley! haha, is it coincidental that i'm not really close with any of them?
