okay, i'm at home today and bored, so i'm writing again.
i've lost my stethoscope. i'm sure it's around here somewhere, but my house is so cold, i don't like going outside the warm confines of my bedroom - not even into my closet. luckily there are extras lying around ED that i can use, but they never fit as well as your own.
what a loser! i just found it hanging on my doorknob, behind a bag of clothes i was planning on donating.
-----------------------------------------
so about skipping graduation. i think i'm gonna do it. it's a multifactorial decision, and the only thing pushing me to stay for it is sentimentality. but if i don't go, i get a longer stay at home before starting my internship in January AND i'm hoping to have some stopovers in Europe. two of my good friends will be in Germany at that time, so i'd go there to say hi. and hopefully, whilst in the area, i can skip over to Italy (either solo or with my friend and her baby), which would help check off my "to do" item of visiting Italy by 30 - which is creeping up very quickly.
other factors are that my parents don't have to travel all this way for my graduation, which is just a few hours. AND i don't have to awkwardly handle both of my parents at once without any sibling back-up. AND... my brother and his wife are expecting a baby around that time - which means that my family is torn between staying for the birth and attending my graduation, but is another reason why i'd want to be at home.
sigh, but i'll be missing out on photos from a major life event. no more cap and gown for me. :(
