hello!

so i'm well settled in my surgical term, and i'm really quite enjoying it, though the hours are kicking my butt (i was just sick for 5 whole days)! the days start early, end late, and can be quite physical. even me, who doesn't do much during an operation but stand and stare, am exhausted after wearing my lead skirt+shirt+thyroid guard. at least i'm getting some form of exercise in, eh?

oh man, there are so many weddings that i'm missing out on this year. it's been suggested that i should've just taken this year off of school to attend them.

why couldn't everyone just have theirs during the 2 wks i'll be home in august? man, i'm getting self-centered! but i am really excited and grateful that i'll be able to attend my brother's wedding. if i missed that, i'd be regretting it for the rest of my days. AND, there's a slight possibility that a couple of my friends will be getting married over here too. :D

in other news, i was kinda set-up with some guy, and went out on something that was sortof a date, but not quite. anyway, i quickly put that to an end. it's a pretty funny story (the circumstances of the set-up, not the date) and i'll have to explain, but i'm thinking this isn't quite the time or place.
