3 more months...

okay, 3 months + 3 days till this school year is over, and i can go home!!! i've sorta booked a ticket, but my mom told me not to take it cuz it's too expensive. ai-yah! i just want to come home, i don't want to be thinking about getting the best deal out there (though i have been looking around for a while). it's gonna cost over $2000 to get my butt back in TO... then back here again in January.

sigh! i'm tired. can't the medical school move to Toronto? if the weather could move too, that'd be great!

i'm just getting over a cold right now. know what? i don't like being around sick people. i seriously cringe whenever they're close by. i'm gonna make some great doctor, eh? i think it might just be an indication that i shouldn't become a GP -- maybe obs/gyne? my mom thinks i should go into that b/c i've got small hands. one of her obstetricians was Eastern European. enough said.

one of my old roommates asked me if i knew of a Canadian comedian, and surprisingly i did -- Russell Peters. actually, the only reason i had even heard of him was b/c of a trip to YukYuks. and the only reason why i went was cuz i had a coupon (2 for 1). haha!

so apparently the brown people here LOVE him. i even found him on the university network -- they had stuff of his from the BBC, and from CTV! how the heck does it get over here? the jokes in the CTV were mainly the ones from the night i saw him in TO, but they were a lot funnier when you're not in the audience, scared that he's gonna pick on you (or rather your race) next. either way, it was a nice touch of home, especially with the reference to Pacific Mall.

well, i better get cracking on my Population Health paper. it's due on Friday, and i'm not sure where i'm going with it - i haven't written a paper in years!!
