cast-off!!

i forgot to write about my cast! i got it off last Wednesday, and i am so happy to have my right arm back again. it's not 100%, but it's getting there. it's just paler, weaker, and hairy - i actually have some hair growth over my wrist -- how gross!

the stupidest thing happened to me right after too.
see, i was gonna take the bus to the hospital, which takes over an hour each way, but Fred offerred to drive me. we went to the Fracture Clinic, got the darn cast cut off, went to see a physiotherapist, bought some snacks, and headed back to Uni with 5 minutes to spare before our tutorial (if i took the bus, i would've missed my entire tutorial).

anyway, in getting out of the car, i somehow tripped and ended up with the car door in between my legs. somehow, don't ask me how, i leaned on the car door, and its edge ended up cutting into my leg. the cut was fairly deep and dirty, so Fred had to take me to the health centre, where i got cleaned up and had 3 steri-strips (sticky stitches) applied to my cut. and we ended up being 30 minutes late to our tutorials.

i am hopeless.
