... till i head home. i'm so excited!! though, i'm not looking forward to the flying.

i've finally bought a dress for the wedding. it has taken months! part of the problem is that it's winter over here, so all the dresses are the wrong colour/fabric. another part is that i'm so picky! i don't want to stand out, but i don't want to look too plain. i don't want to spend a lot, but i'm weary of cheap stuff too.

the dress i finally got is a nice compromise. though i get the feeling that my mom will not like it, and just complain that it's brown. i've been told to that it's actually "aubergine". the only problem i have with it is that the store didn't have my size, so i settled for one size down. that means that i have limited lung expansion, and probably won't be able to eat my hamburger that night.

is this a sign i should find something else to wear?

i spent my evening watching Big Brother. i know it's a waste of time, but i'm addicted. living in this rural town, they've become my roommates - they provide familiarity and conversation. haha, i sound so sad. but tonight was the finale, so hopefully i've kicked the habit.
